Downes, Chalobah, Nsiala and Bree Return at Brentford
Wednesday, 10th Apr 2019 19:08

Flynn Downes, Trevoh Chalobah, Toto Nsiala and James Bree return to the Town starting line-up for tonight’s game at Brentford.

Chalobah comes into the midfield for Cole Skuse, while Nsiala takes over from James Collins at the centre of the defence, while Bree is at right-back with Josh Emmanuel dropping to the bench. Skuse, Collins and Gwion Edwards, who also started at Bolton on Saturday before being subbed late on, are all left out of the 18.

Downes is in central midfield, while Dozzell appears set to move into a role on the right similar to Alan Judge’s on the left, with Collin Quaner again the central striker. Judge is facing the club he left to join the Blues in January.

Simon Dawkins and Tristan Nydam are among the subs but there is no place in the 18 for Will Keane, still not considered ready for a return after his hamstring injury.

Brentford: Daniels, Odubajo, Henry, Maupay, Watkins, Dasilva, Sawyers (c), Benrahma, Jeanvier, Konsa, Bech Sorensen. Subs: Balcombe, Macleod, Canos, Marcondes, Dalsgaard, Forss, Oksanen.

Town: Bialkowski, Bree, Chambers (c), Nsiala, Kenlock, Chalobah, Downes, Bishop, Dozzell, Judge, Quaner. Subs: Gerken, Knudsen, Jackson, Nydam, Emmanuel, El Mizouni, Dawkins. Referee: Andy Davies (Hampshire).

I'd play less loans personally. Bree for our player Emmanuel? Not for me. We are going down and Bree won't be here next season.

With Keane missing AGAIN I also see little point in signing him permanently.

................and calamity Chambers still in the team !!! When will someone wake up and pick a team to win. We only beat Bolton because they were close not to not even being paid last months wages. How do you expect to defend against a lively Brentford side with Ollie Watkins up against Chambers ? 1700 supporters at Brentford will only be there to watch us relegated and enjoy a little sing-song.
